What We Do

We at GAB Foundation believe that all Malaysians have the right to clean water and we are doing our part to make this a reality. We are working hard to rehabilitate our rivers to return them to their pristine state together with our partners from the business, government and residential communities. Building Communities Through Water Conservation

The first step is to change existing mind-sets and attitudes to raise awareness about the importance of conserving this resource. Changing minds is also the hardest part of the job, which is why our programmes are designed with this goal in mind. Water conservation is a responsibility of all Malaysians, and requires concerted effort from all parties. The first step is to change existing mind-sets and attitudes to raise awareness about the importance of conserving this resource. Changing minds is also the hardest part of the job, which is why our programmes are designed to be as inclusive and engaging as possible.

Our W.A.T.E.R. (Working Actively Through Education and Rehabilitation) Project is just one such endeavour, which we designed to raise awareness and encourage greater community participation in water conservation efforts. Other projects include our Storytime with GABBY project, which helps our children better understand water conservation and environmental issues better.

We are pleased to report that some of our efforts have shown progress these last few years, but we are convinced that we can do much, much more. We would like to invite you or your organisation to help us in our work to clean up our rivers and in our advocacy work because together, we can make a difference.
