The Foundation is happy to be working with great partners with common goals and objectives. The Federal and State governments have been actively involved in working with us to make our projects a success, namely the Department of irrigation and Drainage, the Department of Environment, the Petaling Jaya City Council, the Selangor Water Management Board and the Fisheries Department. The project coordinator, Global Environment Centre (GEC), an NGO has been instrumental in sharing their expertise in our River Rehabilitation project by providing invaluable information and technical advice.
Under our English Programme initiative, Educational, Welfare & Research Foundation Malaysia (EWRF) has proven to be an invaluable partner. The knowledge and research done by EWRF, has helped draw impactful activities for children in Tamil schools. Their measurement and evaluation practices on the effectiveness of their programmes are also strengths which prove that their programmes are effective and indeed beneficial to the students.
With the steady progress made by the Foundation on each project, more independent bodies, government agencies, NGOs, environmentalists and interested parties have begun to show interest and support. We are indeed constantly looking into more avenues in making our projects a greater success, and our vision a reality.
