To complement the efforts to raise the level of English proficiency among Tamil school children, we decided to set up reading corners in these schools as an avenue for students to nurture the reading habit during school hours or even after. We custom built special furniture and bookshelves besides purchasing reading materials comprising reference books from year 1 to year 6, encyclopaedias, general knowledge books, dictionaries and English storybooks.

With this incentive, we hope more children from Tamil speaking backgrounds will start to converse and master the English language.
