At first we started focusing on the basic needs for a child to become school-ready. For children who come from less fortunate households, we felt it was important to instill a sense of pride in attending school and pursuing an education. That meant providing school bags, school uniforms, school shoes, stationery and other basics for over 1,000 deserving students in various schools, which we specifically identified.

In 2009, GAB Foundation kicked off its English Programme, which teaches English through fun and games. To complement this programme, reading corners are also set up to enable learning English much easier.
