Education – Who Can Apply

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.
The scholarships will be awarded to students who are financially deserving and have excelled academically.
Applicants must have obtained at least 6As in the SPM examination, 4 principals with a minimum of 2As in the STPM/’A’ Levels examination or must have completed Matriculation/Diploma/Foundation/Pre-University programme with a minimum CGPA of 3.5.
Applicants who are active in sports and/or extra-curricular activities will have an added advantage.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The scholarship award is for the pursuit of certificate, diploma and degree programmes at local or foreign institutions of higher learning.
The scholarship is only for full time courses.

The value of the scholarship :

RM10,000 per year per successful applicant for undergraduate studies in a local private university/college or foreign university/college
RM7,000 per year per successful applicant for undergraduate studies in a local public university/college ;
RM4,000 per year per successful applicant for diploma or advanced diploma courses ; or
RM2,000 per year per successful applicant for certificate courses.

The scholarship shall be for the full duration of the course and is non-extendable and will NOT cover any re-sit/referral or re-enrolment fees and/or living expenses.
All scholarships will be awarded based on merit regardless of race and/or religion.
Decisions of the GAB Foundation on all matters pertaining to the scholarship shall be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.
Essay contributions must be the original work of the applicants. Failing which, GAB Foundation reserves the right to revoke the scholarship at any stage.
Successful applicants shall sign the offer letter for the scholarship, acceptance form and/or other documents as required by GAB Foundation.
The Foundation reserves the right to amend/modify the terms and conditions of the Scholarship award from time to time as deemed appropriate.
